Our Geometallurgical and Extractive Metallurgical services can assist explorationists and mining companies at all stages of a project, including scoping, pre-feasibility, feasibility and operation, covering the entire life cycle of mineral resources.

These disciplines combine geological, mineralogical and metallurgical expertise to form a predictive model of extractive metallurgical performance.

The Geometallurgical team uses quantitative, automated mineralogy to characterize ore mineralogy by providing modal analysis, grain sizing, liberation, mineral deportment and relationships.

The Extractive Metallurgy department provides bench scale testing in the areas of minerals processing and hydrometallurgy. Advanced minerals processing, hydrometallurgy and pyrometallurgy, as well as pilot plant testing can be facilitated through Actlabs with an external provider.
